Many years ago I left Romania for good.I know that other of my colegues and friends,established in other countries ,in Europe,USA,Australia,New Zealand,South America.
I lost my communication with my best friends.When I arrived in USA,I was very busy with the exams for the recognition of my Physician credentials , in order to start working again.It wasn't easy to enter on the gate of the American real life.
Now I am retired and try to establish these contacts.
If you are one of my group with the same target,like me PLEASE,don't be shy,write down several informations and thoughts.Maybe in the other side of the world somebody recognizes your name,or thoughts and will answer to your request.Who knows if this site can help us to recover nostalgia our childhood,studenthood and first period of our life.

TIMISOARA,Banat in Romania is recognized for the architecture and the many wonderful parks,along the BEGA RIVER.In this city for hundreds of years,live together several ethnic groups (romanian,germans,hungarians,serbians,jewish,bulgarians,russians ,armenians)in a perfect understanding and very good communication.I don't remember to observe the feelings of hate among these gropus.We were in the same boat,under the same political administration.We help each other when it was needed.During the WWII,the romanian people helped jewish people.No manifestations of racism.During the 1989 movement of freedom,TIMISOARA was the first city in the country in asking for political and social changes and spreading the ideas of liberation in the rest of the country.

After this epocal event,Timisoara had a very positive development.Many foreign countries(Germany,France,Italy,China,Turkey,Austria)started to do investments in the industry,trades,commerce,banking,insurances.

A GOOD REPUTATION OF BEING WARM WELCOME TO THE TOURISTS,the hotels and restaurants are appreciated and rated with good grades by the consumers.

If you have traveled in Romania,Timisoara,I encourage you to write down your impressions.

This building known by us "CONTINENTAL HOTEL" hosted the 20th anniversary of the graduation ,of 1958 promotion from INSTITUTE OF MEDICINE TIMISOARA.

This envelope was delivered in the same year ,1980,in order to promote "SUMMER OLYMPIC GAMES in Moscow".
TIMISOARA Postal Office in cooperation with Philatelic Association,had many joint activities,including Philatelic Exhibitions.

This is a special envelope,issued by TIMISOARA Postal Office in 1980.The stamp and the oficial obliteration was done in order to celebrate " WINTER OLYMPIC GAMES,LAKE PLACID,1980".

WELLCOME TO REVIVE OUR MEMORIES OF TIMISOARA,ROMANIA.

When I decided to open this site ,I had in mind your desire to attend in developing of this topic.Many of us left this wonderful town 20,30,50 years ago.Some of us didn't return to visit Timisoara.For this reason I chalenge you to participate with pictures,historical,architectural documents,in order to create a better understanding of this very important city of the western part of Romania.
I also suggest you to think about a procedure to collect informations about our classmates from school,university.The same procedure to find about our teachers,professors,highly respected by us.
If you have any documents regarding the historry and development of our city,please share with us.
